
Exeter City was founded in 1904 and began playing on an old field used for fattening pigs, St James Park. Exeter remain at St James Park to this day. The club is nicknamed "The Grecians"

Exeter Chiefs Rugby Club is a rugby union club.
The club was formed in around 1871 and played its first match in 1873. They relocated from the County Ground to Sandy Park in the summer of 2006, which has a ground that can accommodate 10,094.
