The involvement of Exeter during the second world war is documented in many different ways. Part of this project will be to look at how Exeter was effected during other wars to take place in the country. From the Roundheads of the Civil war, through to World War 1 right up to how troops from Exeter are currently fighting for our country around the world.

The following recreated newspapers are how members of the heritage project feel the war time events during the second world war would have been reported today. We were lucky to read through actual editions of the Express and Echo to see how the events were reported.
